M.M.P.
The Marian Movement of Priests is intimately connected with Fatima and its message. It is an international movement for priests.
St. Joseph Catholic Church & School has gathered in a MMP prayer cenacle since February 1996. Its purpose is to pray for all priests, our pope, all bishops and the ministry of the Catholic Church throughout the world.
This cenacle of prayer begins in church by praying the sorrowful mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, every week at 9:30am. At 10:00am, M.M.P. goes to the Shook Center where we ask our Blessed Mother to lead the laity and religious to her son. After invoking the Holy Spirit, prayers are said for our pope and priests, the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and songs are sung to Mary. A few readings are then shared from the book To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons.” As members of the laity, we reflect on these readings and end at 11:15am with an act of consecration to Mary’s Immaculate Heart.
Through the M.M.P. our Blessed Mother teaches her children and her beloved priests how to live. Her purpose is to transform her children interiorly to lead them to do each day what pleases the Heart of Jesus.
